The Anarchist Audit: Current Topics from an Anarchist Perspective

The President and Congress put on a show this week at the State of the Union Address. I can sum it up for you in two words More Socialism. The Republican Response can be summed up in one word Fear. Just one of the many topics they can't agree on, immigrants and the border. Something must be done, we can hardly tolerate another Mass Casualty Incident at the US, Mexico Border... where ten people fell off the wall and got some boo-boos. I smell fear, I see an agenda.

From the manufactured fear of controlled leftist-media headlines to something of greater concern as we consider the potential for Terrorists and Saboteurs Crossing the Border. While there are a lot of unanswered questions about the people coming here 'illegaly', the author makes a good point when talking about numbers. It only takes a minimum number of people to create mass havoc and confusion, not to mention the damage.

So these border stories of real concern don't seem to make big headlines here in America, but across The Pond they seem to be fully aware of the troubles at America's Southern Border, where an estimated 24,000 Chinese Migrants Cossed in 2023 alone. If reports are true, it is mostly males of fighting age with links to the Chinese Communist Party, and the border patrol is overwhelmed and they can't 'vet them all'.

The Southern Border is a circular problem created by politicians and unsolvable in the Statist Paradigm of Masters and Voting Slaves. The fact is, Americans don't even have freedom to travel from state to state without restriction.

What happens if the border problem continues to be politicized and profiteered from? Could something like the Secret Chinese Bio-Lab in Fresno be the tip of the terrorist infiltration iceberg?

It is almost impossible for the average person to understand what is happening to the economy particularly when the media and related talking-heads tend to serve up fear over short-term losses and gains in the economy from month to month in jobs and consumer confidence and spending. It Is Unlikely The Fed Will Lower Interest Rates at the May meeting.

As a listener of Toward Anarchy you have likely heard me talk about the Yield Curve and its potential to signal recession and depression. The Curve Continues To Be Inverted and the only thing missing is a shock to the system to make it break. Such shocks are historically associated with a recession after a long-term inversion of the Yield Curve so we are left at the whims of the money men and their corrupt politicians. If the goal is to collapse America, then it is only a matter of time until a real or manufactured shock tips the balance and sends the economy tumbling.

The problem with codifying anything, for instance the Natural Right to Self-Defense as reflected in the Second Amendment, is the obvious limiting nature of a legal recongnition of individual right in an ever changing political environment. It is possible to say that the people have a recognized right to something, but it is not possible reduce that right to a catch-phrase and expect that the overriding political system will continue to recognize it over time. The New Nebraska Stand-Your-Ground Law is under attack as racist of course, but how could that be when we all have an equal recognized and protected Right to Bear Arms?

Sorry right-wing, you're just no better at this politics thing than the left. You may even be worse. The right pays lip service to individualism and limited government while it outsources the primary responsiblity of self-defense. For the Republican Response they trotted out a "Tradwife" and ramped up fears about immigrants and Out of Control Crime and Disorder Everywhere You Look in the Age of Defund the Police.

One hot topic for the President and Congress is the fear over AI and the markets it creates and influences from media to education to the law. It is clear they intend to get involved in regulating AI and AI tools and the Media Suddenly Wants You to Focus on Race When it Comes to AI when the real problem with this so-called AI is the same problem with all databases, Garbage In Garbage Out.
